Well, here we are. I am smack dab in the middle of tearing the mac apart to install a Jaz 2g. The drive is visibily burnt on the bottom. The external box it used to be mounted in lost its power supply so this has been an orphan til today. I just didnt notice. I guess the power supply killed it or it killed the power supply. Whether murder or mass suicide, the results are the same. I got a 50 to 50 scsi cable to mount the drive internally and discovered the burnt components. I can rent a drive for $20 or buy one on Ebay for 10 plus shipping. Oh decisions, decisions.
I got a 17″ monitor for the kind lady who set up this blog, Her name is not important to you (just to her) but her blog is at www.bornfamous.com Her little monitor has seen better days and its the least I can do for all her help.
Work is a drag, then I get home and turn on my two 21″ monitors and bring life into my living room/office. Dont tell the cats I said that, they would probably be upset…
OK, enough for now. I think I have the feel of this thing here.
