Happiness Reigns!
June 10th, 2005
Ok, here is the latest update. Hannah is now 3.5 months old. She is really smiling alot and trying to talk. Kelli swears she is able to say “Hello” sometimes. She is really a handful during the day when she is awake. She lets us know, in no uncertain terms, when she is unhappy for *any* reason.
Also, the new house is a dream come true! This is the first time either of us have ever owned property and it is so cool to be able to change or redo anything we want. This has led us to redo almost everything. The place was really dirty and hard used when we got it. Now, with new paint on everything, new floors and carpet and even new switches and outlets, the place looks like a new house inside! Its been a ton of work, both Kelli and I have been working til past midnight every night for the last 6 weeks or so getting everything ready and moved. Its been a labor of love though, and worth every minute.
Work has been booming too. I have enough great customers that they not only keep every minute I’m not working on the house occupied, they are patiently waiting for me to help them with even more work. Next months mortgage payments will be covered within the first two weeks of each month. It’s a great feeling to have things come together so smoothly.
This next weekend will be a family reunion with 5 of my 7 brothers and sisters. The place: central Utah. For me, it’s a chance to show off my new little girl. They are all parents, some grandparents so it won’t be anything too unusual for them, however, for me it will be a delight to have the people I love see that I too can procreate and well too, I might add…
I know I haven’t updated this as often as I would like to, however, I ask your patience for further posts. I will get back into posting more often. At least a couple times a month.
Well, I have a toilet to install so I will write more another time.
