Be careful what you ask for.
October 29th, 2003
Ever heard these words of wisdom? I’m sure you have. I know I have, over and over again. I have also heard Ask and you shall receive. Well I have been asking for overtime at work. I got it and worked for about 11 days straight. Thats a good thing. Then I went to AZ to see The Lady. Spent 5 wonderful days there while San Diego burned. Glad I missed it. Thats just me though. Thanks to my friends who looked after my pets, wonderful people.
Anyway, getting back to the whole asking thing. I learned many years ago, thoughts are things. I heard it, found it to be an interesting concept and worth investigating. I really became aware of my thoughts and corrected the ones that didnt serve my best interest. Spent some time playing with particular thoughts and seeing the results. I am a believer! One of the most interesting ways we communicate with ourselves is through questions. The questions we ask ourselves says a lot about our expectations and desires. Also what we feel we deserve.
Hey, dont take my word for this. Do the work and see what you are thinking. I promise it will be worth it. For me, I am asking How do I make my dreams come true? and How can I share what I love with the most amount of people? I’m also asking some good questions about finances. Just to be on the safe side. I dont want to try giving from an empty cup
What are you asking for?
